About Our Chapter

Our chapter is pleased to be partnering with the Lexington Park Lions Club to build 30 beds on September 26. This event coincides with Sleep in Heavenly Peace's national Bunks Across America event. Almost 100 chapters across the United States and Canada will build beds on this day to ensure that "No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town". Registration for community members to join the Lions is now open

PLEASE CONSIDER donating money for lumber. SEND checks or gift cards (preferably for lumber) to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, PO Box 1112, Lexington Park, MD 20653 or DONATE online here. Now more than ever our work is important. PLEASE HELP US to be prepared to meet the needs of those less fortunate in our community by DONATING FUNDS NOW.  Thank you for believing in our mission and being the answer to our prayer. We hope to see you soon.

Child bedlessness is a problem.  As a national nonprofit with chapters spread across the United States, Canada, and Bermuda, SHP provides a solution. We are a 501(3)(c) volunteer organization that builds beds for kids ages 3-17 who do not have beds of their own. YOU can help our St. Mary's County Chapter!
